ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
After starting out as an energetic new Christian committed to serving in the local church, Jim Wise found himself bouncing from ministry to ministry, each assignment leading to the same results: ineffectiveness; lack of passion and energy; waiting for the assignment to end. While Jim’s professional career progressed from retail management to financial services, his ministry career was transformed through this study on spiritual gifts. Jim’s wife and six kids encouraged him to write this book; it kept him locked in his office and out of the way for nearly a year. Jim has found that the exercise of his spiritual gift is both life-giving and life-changing. His passion in life, after the Los Angeles Lakers and Baltimore Ravens, is to help others experience the same joy and effectiveness in their ministry that this study has provided in his life.
