Church Structure That Works, by Bill Blanchard

Church Structure That Works: Turning Dysfunction into Health, by Bill Blanchard

Some of the biggest challenges that pastors and church leaders face are rooted in a non-biblical church structure. These challenges lead to low morale and discouragement, and they can drain enthusiasm and kill vision faster than almost anything else. This book shows you how to build an effective biblical church structure so that troubling dysfunction can be transformed into a healthy environment. Pastors, missionaries, church planters, college and seminary professors, church leaders and church members will be greatly helped by reading and applying this book, which combines biblical scholarship to the practical insights of a pastor with over 30 years of experience.

ENDORSEMENTS:

“This book is a helpful and practical guide as a local body of believers considers how to do the work of the church. There is much wisdom in this book. You will read it with profit.”
Dr. Daniel L. Akin, President, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

“Throughout this book, Dr. Blanchard reveals his leadership acumen by clearly and masterfully weaving between all of the necessary elements that comprise church structure -- including theological commitments, biblical principles, organizational theory, and practical application.  In so doing, he provides pastors, professors, and lay leaders alike with a timeless, multicultural, and cross-cultural tool that serves as a textbook, workbook, handbook, and manual, all rolled up in one.”
Dr. Frederick Cardoza II, Professor, Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

“Dr. Blanchard has developed a biblical approach to church polity which serves as a model for a properly functioning church.  He effectively addresses an area of ecclesiology that has been sorely neglected for years.”
