Character Immunization, by Michael Hayutin
Character Immunization: How to raise children strong enough to resist popular culture, by Michael Hayutin

Millions of parents are overwhelmed by the overtly negative impact that the Internet, TV, and advertising are having on today's youth. Character Immunization can help you learn effective strategies to neutralize popular culture's impact on your children.

Kids today are subjected to an unprecedented sensory barrage. Certain elements of popular culture may cause children to question traditional values unless they are properly "immunized" at home. Author Michael Hayutin offers up the concept of a character immune system. Like the biological immune system, it can be fortified if it receives the input it needs to function properly.

While the biological immune system requires good nutrition, exercise and medical care, the C.I.S. thrives on a diet of old-fashioned traditional values. By detailing the many ways that our local and global villages have failed to support good character, Hayutin reminds parents of the primacy of their traditional roles.

Character Immunization will inject parents with a booster shot of courage, conviction, and commitment. Strength of parental character will be the byproduct of the clarity of purpose and certainty of plan that one derives from this illuminating read.
